Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. If you're planning to experience the Solstheim side quests, it's advisable to install this update on a save where you haven't traveled there yet. - Added in another condition to the Alternate Voice switching script- turns out I forgot Chasing Echoes also took place in the Soul Cairn, not just Castle Vokihar, - Fixed radiant love dialogue not appearing for some, - Added in some more failsafes to ensure Companions commentary runs more smoothly, - Fixed Serana not being able to train you in Speechcraft, - Moved all Serana's goodbye lines into one consolidated branch under a new data quest entry. - Alias filling improvements for all NPC Banter, - Added another cooldown to the main Injured Dialogue quest record, so it should occur less frequently, - Added more safeguards to ensure Serana's NPC Banter didn't overlap with other scenes involving the same NPC, - Reduced distance requirement for Sorine and Gunmar banter, - Added flags for Serana's existing College of Winterhold radiant dialogue to not occur during serious moments in the Winterhold questline, - Drinking Buddies dialogue will no longer mistakenly appear when directing Serana to use a bed, via the favor menu, - Fixed radiant love conversation dialogue not appearing (requires a new save, or a save that was made before Serana's confession). - A Serana gift-giving feature, which different responses for her depending on the type of gift. If there are mods that do this too, do not use them with SDA- you will break Serana's brain! Because the Serana marriage in this mod is treated very differently from typical vanilla marriage, both role-play wise and gameplay wise. - Reduced randomness of gift-giving item pool. - Added AlternateVoice flags to Kerstyn dialogue which previously didn't have any, - Added workarounds to prevent the Serana dialogue looping animation, - Removed "Say Once" condition to Serana Vampire conversation so the player will be able to experience it more than once, - Miscellaneous backend code improvements, - Serana won't greet you with her radiant greets when in the Castle Volkihar Boss room, - She also won't greet you if you're currently in dialogue with another NPC (soft-requires SKSE, only on Oldrim/SSE), - Serana will no longer engage in quest commentary if the player is speaking to another NPC, - Serana will no longer stand up and do weird dialogue animations while she's sitting down (mostly with WhatsOnYourMind dialogue), - Decreased frequency of Serana sneak greets, as to not irritate the player, - Serana will no longer talk to NPCs (NPC Banter) while sneaking. - Serana now has some flavorful comments on Haelga's room in her Bunkhouse! Also made sure to make all of them stop while not running. Lines were also cut (with past updates and this current one) to make the conversation seem more realistic and less overly dramatic. For now these are unvoiced. - The FG/OStim check is now made on each player game load, making SDA now able to detect if either of these animation frameworks were installed on an existing SDA save. Linked in missing voice lines for Serana's radiant location commentary on the College of Winterhold (via 'What do you think of this place?'). - Rewrites for various Serana dialogues, ranging from role-play, NPC Banter, idle lines, quest commentary. New Save/Game not required for 3.0 if upgrading from Version 2.9 already, After this update, more NFF features will be obsolete. New voice acting with Kerstyn's voice as well as more extensive commentary on this armor. So now you can hear all of her fun lines. - Redone Crimson Blood armor dialogue patch. If you have 'Sleep Tight' installed, SDA will detect this and revert its stripping sub-feature for the Serana sleep feature. If you have downloaded the Wintersun patch(s) - please re-download the new versions, as they've been edited to reflect this compatibility change as well. Just speak to Serana (as long as you know the spell) and you can teach it to her right away. - SDA On Location Change quest commentaries/scripts will no longer fire if the Serana Cure Quest is active. Serana can now order drinks in taverns every now and then. She no longer gets cured immediately, but only 24 hours after (after "thinking about it"). Decided to just release this as a full update now, and not just a beta, as this update was already extensively tested and any bugs experienced (if there are) should be rather minor. This should hopefully compliment characters who are exemplary in magic and resistant to illusion spells. Previously they were able to, and Serana turned hostile as a result. This was implemented to some extent in vanilla (hence how Serana had different dialogue animations throughout the DG questline) but never fully realized. It wouldn't make sense for Serana to become more outspoken and bantery to other characters so soon after waking up, - Added AlternateVoice=1 condition to hello lines that should have had it, - Workarounds added to prevent FG seduction dialogue from popping up on Serana after she has been married (thanks jgostling!). - Removed dialogue cooldown for Serana recap dialogue. - Fixed Serana's Hagraven lines going off in Giant Camps instead of Hagraven Nests. Now they should act as regular 'hello' greetings. - While drinking (if in third person) the player will now also play the appropriate drinking animations. This has now been fixed. Disabled for now until scene framework is fully put together. - Removed an unecessary voice file from the archive which didn't play in-game, - Serana now faces NPCs while talking to them (was previously just headtracking). - Changed some conditions with the Odahviig commentary scene to make sure it fires (this was finnicky for some users before, sometimes it was occurring after a considerable delay/fast travel), - More alternate voice script toggles have been added to make sure voice-over transition is more seamless, - Added alternate voice flags to dialogue that was supposed to have them before, - Serana's post MQ commentary now has a script setting the quest stage, that was supposed to be there before. - The contextual responses for some of Serana's radiant dialogue should now work properly and as intended. The revoice is now effectively 100% complete! Incorporated Serana Hood Fix by thetrader, with modifications by me. Some good stuff- primarily the fact that you're now able to romance Serana. - Completely redone Serana "What's your opinion on" dialogue with new lines voiced by the new VA, Kerstyn Unger! Sneeze/Yawn toggle is now only available she's become cured. Serana should now properly sleep in any inn with a rentable double bed (The Bannered Mare, Winking Skeever, Braidwood Inn, Old Hroldan Inn, Dead Man's Drink, Moorside Inn)! She will have radiant conversations with barkeeps and order drinks for herself. Part of the groundwork I'm doing before the release of the romance update rework, this change was made for a more authentic depiction of the relationship. The player isn't her thrall or blood cow. - An ability is now added when the player first enters into a romance with Serana. If Serana isn't close to you yet, you won't hear any MQ commentary at all. - Serana's SDA leveled spells (like Oakflesh) should now start appearing correctly, and scale properly as Serana and the player level.
